Server Rules

Not understanding the rules does not make you exempt from them. These rules apply across all Vanilla+ servers. The rules below are not exhaustive—any intentional exploit may result in a ban.

General Rules

Account Usage

Discord alts to circumvent a ban or abuse the economy is not allowed.
Bot manipulation of the economy system is not permitted.
DayZ accounts cannot be shared, especially accounts with priority queue. If someone breaks a rule on your account, you will take the fall. This can include your Discord and ANY known in-game alts getting banned.
DayZ alts are allowed.
Intentional stat resetting by leaving/rejoining the server is not allowed.

Respectful Conduct

Treat everyone with respect; no harassment, doxxing, sexism, racism, or hate speech.
No unsolicited server invites, advertisements, or DMs without staff permission.
No age-restricted or obscene content in text, images, or links.
SFW avatars only; using another member's picture results in a permanent ban.
Do not share base locations in public channels.
Threats against the server will result in an immediate ban.
Posting a user's unwanted private personal information (name, pictures, address, or other personal info not shared by them in this Discord) is not allowed and will result in a permanent ban.

Raiding

24/7 Raiding All Servers

Permitted Raiding Methods

We recommend recording raids.
Breaking walls or entering through windows is permitted.
Boosting over a wall using a car or another player is permitted.
Code raiding is permitted. Changing codes is permitted.
Raiding is 24/7 — base damage is never disabled.
Logging out inside of a base is allowed.

Watchtower Raiding Rules

Watchtower raiding is allowed if not abusing build anywhere:
All 4 posts must be on solid ground (not floating).
No part of the watchtower can clip through walls/objects.
Watchtowers cannot be stacked.

Prohibited Raiding Methods

Using fireplaces, fence kits, fences, garden plots, or other items to climb is not permitted for any reason.
Build-anywhere abuse means climbing with any object floating in the air—this is not permitted.

Base Building

Base Construction Rules

Bases must have at least one clear raidable path through gates.
Teams are not allowed to block the only raidable path mid-raid to prevent a raid. Minimum penalty is a 1-week ban.
Base building is not permitted in no-build zones (see map-specific zones for each server).

White Walling

Policy

White walling results in a ban; hard logs are allowed.
Reports are reviewed case-by-case. Video evidence is required.

Ban Policy

General Ban Rules

If a faction owner is banned, their faction will be retired and base pings will automatically be removed.
Players running with those breaking rules may also be banned (e.g., running with white wallers or those glitching into bases).
Factions are responsible for their players. After 3 players in a faction are banned for any valid reason, the faction will be retired.
We ban by console from ALL Vanilla+ servers (including alt accounts).
Donation perks are lost on ban and not reinstated (excluding false boost detection auto-bans).

Ban Length & Appeals

These terms are for game server bans, not Discord bans.
Ban appeals can be opened after 1 month and a wipe has passed.
Unbans will not be given during the first week of a wipe.
We do not guarantee an unban after a set period. Appeals are reviewed case-by-case.

Permanent Bans

Permanent console bans are issued for highly disruptive intentional exploits, including: skywalking, undermapping, duplicating items, lag switch/freeze glitching, and threats against the server.

Important Reminder

The rules listed above are not an exhaustive list of what is not permitted. Any type of intentional exploit will result in a ban.
